Okay guess this is going to happen again and again. Things escalated again with my boss today. She said nothing is going to leave my desk towards X unless she and her boss approve. It's fucking ridiculous. I am allowed to work on my own, just when it comes to him they're playing kindergarten.

Just now, I spoke to a visibly upset X about it and he promised me that next Monday, in a meeting with the department boss and the boss of my part of the organization (above mentioned boss of my boss), he is going to find a solution so that he and I can work together on an official basis without me having to by-pass my boss' rules. It just needs to get solved now because I am under so much pressure. On one side, I love working with X and I love my job because of it, on the other side, I have my own bosses and they keep holding me back and putting rocks in my way.

My bosses need to understand that if they keep trying to keep back information from X, it's going to bite them in the ass. X today, for the first time, asked me if I could imagine working for him. I said I can imagine a lot of things but I don't think they would ever let me go. He knows that also. It's wishful thinking at this point. It was quite a personal conversation and he promised me he is going to solve this for both of us.

God, office politics. This is getting really ugly!
