I was at work from 6.30 in the morning until half past 7 at night today. No lunch break either. The often-mentioned boss called me at 5 pm and asked for a favour but said not to worry about it today because I was working too hard anyway. I laughed it off and did what he asked for and finished just before I left office. I am pretty tired now but feel good about today. I was able to finalize a couple of things, had an important meeting together with above mentioned boss (let's call him X) and another 10 men in suits who were all over 50. I actually felt a tiny bit intimidated. I was out of place but X wanted me to be there with him so I tried not let him down and eventually things worked out well for us. If I appear to have a crush on X because I mention him so often, please know that my interest is completely work-related. LOL. I do like him but that is mostly because of the things he does and the way he does them. I admire the work he does. You don't find many people like him working for the government.

Anyway, I bought the first season of Dr. House from Amazon yesterday! House and 24 are my favourite shows by a mile. I really don't watch anything else except maybe an episode of Law and Order every now and again.
