Current status with my boss: truce. I brought the whole thing up again this afternoon. She said she isn't mad at me. She doesn't like how the bad big boss keeps her out of things. LOL

Current status with the bad big boss: all is good. He sent me a long e-mail this evening telling me that it is a pleasure to work with me and that he is very sorry that I have been getting in trouble because of him. He promised me to keep communicating with me directly because he can and he is allowed to. I had sent him a short e-mail basically telling him I am okay and can stand the heat just as I was getting his which prompted him to come to my office. We talked about my situation and he said it is unfair to fight old wars on my shoulders and he will do everything he can to make sure I can work to the best of my abilities. He also said that he and I had similiar ideas and concerns for our department and that he wants to work closely with me because I can help him and the department spend every Euro on something that makes sense. It was a very nice and reassuring conversation. My boss would probably think of it as him and I conspiring but that's just not true. We just want to work and not be held back by people who can't seem to move on from the past.

Anyway, on a completely different note, I have an office flirt going on. LOL. I dunno what to make of it. It am just not used to this. I am not the one pushing this either. I just sort of slipped into this. Of course, I am having my guards up. I am actually no fan of office relationships at all. Oh well... not that anything has happened so far. But if someone calls you three times a day unrelated to any work stuff, I guess I can assume safely that his interest is not work-related, right? LOL
