Why I never update

It's easy. There is simply nothing happening that would be worth blogging about. You may argue that there is enough going on in the world today for me to weigh in on but I just can't be bothered forming opinions anymore. I concur with the Citz in that world in general and aiports and planes in particular have become ridiculous places to spend time in ever since that fateful morning in September of 2001. So, accept this blog being a dead place as a consequence of world terrorism. George Bush will without a doubt tell you I have a point.

Proving that international terrorism (whoever invented that term will hopefully and eventually get blown up by an, uhm, international terrorist) has finally reached German soil, we're now being reminded in train stations and other public places to watch out for abandoned suitcases and bags. That's funny because we're about 10 years behind when it comes to that. In Britain, they have bomb alerts every other day but here, up until a few days ago, nobody cared about unattended baggage ever. And if I hadn't been to Britain to get scared out of my mind a couple of times, I would probably still be as unphased as ever. Oh, what a glorious life it would be! Correction: it would no longer be glorious because now we're about to get blown up and killed by young men from Libanon.

To commemorate our last days on earth, Hanka and I will celebrate our birthdays in style on Saturday. It will be so much fun having a BBQ in cold and rainy weather. I might just start drinking vodka to celebrate the occasion.

I went chocolate shopping during my lunch break today. Not for me though. I am sending a friend abroad all kinds of German chocolate to give them a taste of what I am dieting on here. It was sorta fun running around the store, picking everything you like, and not having to eat it!

Hey, it's 3.13 pm and I am at work. I should be working. Later!
