Missing my flight
My flight takes off in 60 minutes and I am a good 35 minutes away from the airport. Catching it shall be fun. Lol. I wonder why these lovely breakdowns of public transport never happened during the World Cup?
So, now that my flight to Dresden is in serious doubt, I may miss that Robbie Williams concert I was going to attend tomorrow. Because I sure as hell won't book a new flight. We'll see...
I'm also hungry and very much uncertain as to what to watch on tv now that there will be no more football games. It's over and the fact that it ended in a Zizou disgrace is only midly comforting. I hope they award us the Summer Olympics sometime in the 2020s and maybe we'll get another World Cup in, uh, 40 years? It's so depressing... almost as depressing as this f.ucking train that doesn't move fast enough. Geez.
By the way, there is this young Brit with me on the train and he is telling everybody who will listen how great Germany and the World Cup were. He had the pleasure of seeing Rooney being sent off. Which was a good thing as it helped liberate the tournament from a disgraceful English side. Hey, the WAGs might have had a better shot a scoring than Frank Lampard...
Alright, I may post some more later to let you know if I made it in time or not...

It's great to see that many people enjoyed the World Cup. It makes me happy to know people have enjoyed hanging out in Germany. And I even won a law book today. Betting on World Cup matches was fun, though pretty depressing throughout the past week.
I hope you made it to Dresden in time, but I guess you did, because you are not yet cursing. ;-)
